I have read several books where individuals like Mary Baxter, Roland
Buck, Marrietta Davis, Jesse Duplantis etc have either visited heaven
or hell, or even both and wrote about it. The Davis account was even
written in the late 1800's. In all these accounts there is a clear
sense of the surround, what is happening and they can write about it
afterwards. I have however not read any report of buddist, athiest,
islam, hindu etc visiting their "paradise" and returning to tell us
about it. Am i missing anything or does this only happen to
christians. Makes me wonder!
But Atheists do so all the time. It is here and now. And maybe if
people spent as much time believing in people as they did believing in
gods, we could make the most of it.

It happens only to people who are in a state of psychological
malaise, who are able to delude themselves as a result of
religious mania. Simply a distortion of reality a cognitive
imbalance, a flight of fancy, temporarily stepped off their trolly.

I believe that this is the very phenomenon of psychological malaise.
We can find a lot of people of religious mania who delude themselves in the asylum.

I doubt whether it has really happened because so few of Christians have
come to the paradise.
Is there any clue in those accounts to prove the reality of the experience?

LL: You are certainly missing something when you a about atheists
going to their paradise. There is NO atheist paradise. We know that
this life is all we have because there is NO evidence to the
contrary. There is no place for us to go to or come back from.
or does this only happen to

LL: Since I haven't heard such stories from non-Christians I can only
assume that they are the only ones who have such "experiences,"
probably because they have been so well indoctrinated into believing
paradise exists that they won't consider that it doesn't. There are
many people who have such hallucinations.
Welcome to A-vs-C and thanks for your interest. It is interesting
that you have noted the same phenomenon. It tends to be ignored
here but it has been apparent to me for many many years and I
have visited such institutions used to contain these sick people.
Today we have the benefit of drugs to help with the relief of the
worst symtoms but many remain effected for life.
Please do not be offended with my direct answer to your question:
"Is there any clue in those accounts to prove the reality of the
experience?"
That which does not exist in fact cannot in fact be proven.
Heaven and Hell are notional concepts only, in the mind of
the believer as it is with god/s.
Hope to hear from you again.

I doubt they can provide any proof to the actual journey to either
place, but there is confirmed data showing that the brain can be a
producer of real images of God, talking to the patient who, depending
on their previous predilection to religion, may or may not understand
the reality behind their psychosis.
