God Vs Evolution The Non Argument The Keeps Going

The problem with the evolution vs. creationism debate is that the participants are both using the same word, "evolution", but talking about two different aspects of it.  "Evolution" has been scientifically proven over and over again as an irrefutable process.  What is impossible to prove or disprove is that everything that currently exists-or ever has existed - was created by this process.  Who cares, really?  What's here is here and it is now unfolding according to the principles of evolutionary process which basically says "things change over time".  So when an Old Testament Literalist*  says "evolution" is false, they are referring to evolution as the origin of life as we know it.  They can't possibly be disputing the fact that things change over time.

But they do that ALL the time! They suggest that god is the guiding hand for all change, some continue to suggest the immutability of species.

Look, for example, how computers have evolved, or various viruses and bacterium that continue to adapt to and become immune to the drugs we use to combat them.  There are thousands of obvious examples of the evolutionary process even within our short lifetimes.  The problem with evolution as the origin of life is how did everything evolve from nothing?  But this is more a conceptual problem than a real one.  What most Old Testament Literalists can't seem to grasp is that their inability to understand something doesn't mean it's impossible.

*(A Christian myself, I don't call them "Christians" because many of them cherry pick Old Testament verses that suit their biases while ignoring Christ's central message- the 11th commandment- hence the lack of any truly Christ-like characteristics).

The actual teachings of Jesus have nothing to do with 99+% of what is taught by religion now. Jesus taught the use of dreams and visions (for healing suggestions and foresight and numerous other uses), and the use of the power of suggestion to heal. The connection to God (in his teachings and in the use of dreams and visions) is as old as people recalling their dreams and/or visions. The Bible makes this connection. Christians, Muslims, Bahai's and Jews all relate to this, albeit not very well, as well as most indigenous peoples.

Evolution is a fact of life. The interesting thing about evolution is that Darwin used his dreams to create his theory of evolution. Religionary literalists ignore that. Darwin was a prophet and almost no one realizes it because what he wrote wasn't created in terms that the religious relate to.

You do know that that argument just shows your ignorance of the topic?
Evolution is a fact. It happened and is happening now. In SCIENCE a
theory explains a set of facts. It is not simply a guess or something
they made up. There is far more proof for evolution than there is for
your god.

Just thought I'd add something. Evolution is a THEORY. No, it is not a
fact. Go back and check how things happen to certain animals, funky
huh? but anyways, what i thought i'd say is taht not every christian
is against evolution. I personally do not agree with it, but if God
chose to do it that way, then who cares how it happened? I think we
