Depends which version of Excel.
Office 2008 for the Mac dropped VBA support. It is there in Office 2004,
but I don't know what proportion of the feature set from the Windows
versions is supported.

Eventually, it will be available and I do know it from Palm. I know it
works.
I didn't think you needed it just /now/.
Remember how new the iPhone 3G is and do remember how many applications
we are still missing. Like a powerful graphical calculator with
financial modules, Encyclopædia Britannica and Oxford English Dictionary

I believe that the Macintosh version of Excel doesn't have or support
VBA, so unless you're running PC Excel on your Macintosh via Crossover,
Fusion, or Parallels, you're SOL.

Yes indeed I bothered with it real good. But first I googled, and
penned this response.
Having now read it, i am unsure exactly what a "keyboard layout" really
is. Nevertheless it's incidental to my actual need which has now been

I brought a spreadsheet over from my PC at work to my iMac at home to
work on some VBA. But it won't let me open the code at all, tells me
"Project Locked", "Project is unviewable" when I try to look at the
code. The code is protected, but I know the password, but it's not even
asking for a password.

iCal/Address Book: Screen Contrast

I've used Palm Desktop as a desktop PIM for many years and, quite frankly,
it seems to be much more flexible than using iCal and Address Book in
combination. (Since Palm Desktop also has a very useful "Memos" capability,
it's more functional as well.) Nevertheless, I decided to give iCal/Address
Book a try.

Which is why I would consider it a bug. The options that have no effect
in plain text should be greyed out in the TextEdit menus so the user
isn't confused.

Plain Text is plain text, just a string of characters. There is no way
to specify that some of it should be underlined. There is the
underline character _ but that does not affect any other text. If you
tell TextEdit to underline when in Plain Text mode, it displays
everything underlined, but there is nothing that can be put in a plain

I can see situations where this would be useful, so thanks for the tip.
For those like me using just a single Mac and POP mail, I prefer to have
Eudora keep copies of outgoing mail and set up my filters so that my
copies of outgoing mail automatically get filtered to the right mailbox.

I use File Magnet to sync files and view them on my iPhone 3G. It should
work on the original as well.
