Mystery Component
|
| |
From a box of engineering surplus from a client (so I can't just check their part number). It's a 1210 package, orange, says "DALE" "4R7" 9333 It ohms out to 1.0 ohms -- so it certainly isn't a 4.7 ohm resistor. Does Dale make coils? Where to check?

Interesting new op amp--like a LT1128 on Prozac
|
| |
[link] This is a potentially very nice part--0.9 nV, 2.4 pA, 1.5 pF Cin, 33 MHz, +- 15V. The dynamic range is stunning, especially with that low input capacitance--about a quarter of the LT1128's. With quiet feedback (i.e. not a room temperature resistor) you could do some fun... more »

LTSpice Error Massage: time step too small
|
| |
Hello, I try to simulate a circuit, but I always get an error message: Analysys: time step too small; initial timepoint: trouble with u3:mm-instance m:u3:1 u3 is a Mosfet IRF4905. Has anyone an idea how I can solve the problem? Best regards. Sven

Various electronic stuff fo those interested
|
| |
Will pay reasonable shipping costs - but please ask only if you can use a given item set. 1) 6 sets ferrite cores P14/8/I-3C81-A400 (ie: gapped) and retaining clips. 2) Rather old, untested, Analog Devices 310J amplifier module 3L x 1.5W x 0.75H. 3) Misc old but good electrolytic caps, and various digital ICs.... more »

calculating saturation current of transformer
|
| |
I have designed a 1:1 transformer that will be used in a low voltage DC:DC converter. I have tested the current at which the transformer saturates by decreasing the frequency of the primary voltage while keeping the secondary open loop. I would like to calculate the theoretical value of the current at... more »

Ot. USB problems
|
| |
My daughter said the thumb drives wouldn't work on the computer ( Both work on another computer). This morning neither USB printer is working. So far the keyboard and mouse are working (both USB). Running XP SP 2. What could be wrong? Mike
