Macrolens 
  My eye doc is trying me out in some macrolens contacts and I just got the first try today. The surprising thing is that the vision is simply not good. It seems that my astigmatism is really coming right on through. I'm wondering how this could be, and whether there is hope for me with these or if I should just give up. Can a person get MORE nearsighted suddenly? 
  (I'm waiting for my ophthalmologist to call back.) This is weird. When I put on my contacts (distance, far-sighted, astigmatism) early this morning (5:00 am) things in the house seemed OK, but distance stuff (freeway signs, etc.) were fuzzy. Car lights are usually blurry, but this was worse than usual. When it got light, things seemed OK.... more »

Night glare after optometrist visit 
  Hi, The optometrist put eye drops in my eyes during my last visit. 2 drops in each eye. I had the ususal after effects of lights being brighter than normal, and flaring of headlights. But even the next whole week I still had problems with headlights "flaring" at night (although not as bad as initially).... more »

Abnormal binocular vision and reading problems 
  Hi, I underwent strabismus surgery in my childhood, but doctors didn't take care of my fusion and stereopsis development, so I don't have normal binocular vison almost all my life.
